Position Overview

The Mechanical Construction Manager provides management and technical oversight of HVAC, piping, equipment, central utility systems, and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Manage scope, schedule, safety, quality, and contractor performance; coordinate contractors, vendors, engineering, and stakeholders; review documents; lead planning and sequencing; resolve technical and field issues; coordinate inspections, testing, startup, commissioning, turnover, recovery activities, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of mechanical construction, engineering, or project management experience; HVAC, piping, equipment, and utility-systems expertise; complex contractor management; ability to interpret mechanical documentation; strong planning and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Semiconductor, data center, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, or industrial experience; central utility plants, process utilities, large-scale HVAC, EPC/EPCM, owner’s representative, or construction management experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent relevant industry experience will also be considered.
